Erick Sánchez teaching at The Art Students League in San Juan, PR
I’ll be teaching an innovative workshop about creating paints, surfaces and textures using alchemy with pigments, recycled materials and acrylic mediums. This workshop is designed to teach students to develop unique textures and colors which are not possible using traditional materials.
Design, color and composition within the abstract expressionist painting:
This workshop will also focus on the composition and value of color in painting. We will talk about how artists have designed their works throughout history but also will explore new possibilities.
The intensive workshop will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm for 9 sessions beginning on April 18, 2013. It is open to intermediate and advanced students using acrylic paint. Spaces are limited. Call and reserve yours now.
