What to do when everything is Made in China?
Today it is almost impossible to buy a product that is not MADE IN CHINA. But, have you ever asked yourself what are the consequences behind that fact? Perhaps; Twenty first century children slavery, seafood laced with dangerous antibiotics, global economy disaster, poisoned pet food and tires missing key safety components to mention some. The actual list is literally endless. Thousands of children in China have been sold into slavery, like “things” to work as laborers. They are forced to work since seven years old. A child laborer is paid 0.50 cents an hour and must work at least 300 hours a month.
If every American spent just $64 more than normal on USA made items this year, it would create about 200,000 new jobs. If 200 million Americans each refuse to buy just $20 of Chinese goods, that’s a billion dollar trade imbalance resolved in our favor. We are all part of that cycle. Can we do something about it?
Special thanks to Sophia for her love and everyday support. To Will for being a great camera man, video and for laughing with me. To Clark for being my loyal French assistant. To Josette for being my French mom and taking good care of me. And to may other friends and supporters who believe in my art. MERCI BEAUCOUP!!

I am very fascinated with the “Made In China” logo. It’s hard to believe that this still happens around the world. Thanks for sharing this piece of your artwork.

Thanks to you! Still and will keep happening if we don’t moderate our consumerism. 😀
